Growing Community Connections offers comprehensive support services designed to help families and youth thrive. Our services include:

CENTRAL NAVIGATION: A one-stop resource hub to connect families with the services and resources they need, such as housing, food security, child care, and more. Our team is here to guide you through the process and ensure you have access to the support available in the community.

FAMILY COACHING: Our strength-based Family Coaching program empowers families to set and achieve personal goals. Through regular coaching sessions, we provide guidance, encouragement, and resources to help families build protective factors and achieve long-term stability.

Eligibility Requirements:

Dakota County Nebraska Resident

Must be a parent or a minor child aged eighteen or younger, or eighteen and high school, a non-custodial parent of a minor child or a pregnant parent in their household.

Parent/Caregiver or child(ren) USA Citizen/Legal Resident

Income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL)

Willingness to engage in the support and resources offered

PLANS OF SAFE CARE: Our Plans of Safe Care service supports families in creating individualized, strength-based action plans that promote the well-being of children and parents facing challenges related to substance use. Each family receives a customized binder to organize and track their progress, containing essential resources, worksheets, and contact information for support services. This binder helps families stay organized and motivated as they build protective factors, enhance safety, and access community resources.

CONNECTED YOUTH INITIATIVE: In partnership with PALs, coaching is provided for youth through the Connected Youth Initiative, offering mentorship, skill-building, and resources to support young people as they transition into adulthood and navigate life's challenges.
